Basis:
This is a venture in on-line exposition of the Bible, all from a basic evangelical understanding shaped over the years by a growing conviction that:
1. the basic underlying teachings are both reliable and life-giving;
2. God is to be discovered and encountered;
3.God’s basic orientation toward us is one of benevolence;
4. Jesus came to DEMONSTRATE God’s love; and
5. that Jesus’ mission statement can be summed up in the words of John 10:10 – “I am come that you might have life and have it in all its fullness.”
